On 2 December, join hundreds of walkers for an unforgettable 5k route through the streets of central Manchester. We're taking big steps to raise money and help make sure every family has a warm, safe place to call home.

Beginning at the Shelter hub in Watson Street, you'll walk through the bustle of Manchester’s central shopping streets. The route takes you past the Alan Turing memorial, through the world-famous Piccadilly Gardens, then to Shelter’s other hub in Swan Street. Finally, you'll return to the start point down the iconic Deansgate.

You'll be surrounded by hundreds of other like-minded Shelter supporters. This walk is perfect for families, friends, colleagues or even solo walkers if you want to spread some festive cheer for a positive cause. Take in the Christmas lights, soak up the atmosphere and be a part of the fight for home this winter.

See you there!
